After a disappointing trip to a closed fish and chip shop, this one was open on Sunday. We stumbled across this slice of paradise. Located 5 mins from the the beach, it was an easy walk. Staff were friendly and the menu with prices was displayed clearly on the wall. We had the chips and curry sauce. The curry sauce was hot and fresh and tasted slightly sweet which was really nice. Portions were very generous. Would definitely recommend. They also served scraps for free which you don't see anymore!

Best fish and chips around and the name says it all !!!! Food is excellent, they cook it fresh so you have to wait, but it's definitely worth the wait and good value for money.

Brilliant by name, brilliant by nature! This place was recommended by a local, so we took a punt over our usual nearby favourite. I have to say I had forgotten how good fish and chips by the seaside could taste. We rung our order through beforehand as we'd been told there could be a long wait at tea times. Both the large cod and haddock did not disappoint, and the chips were fresh and the tastiest we'd had for a long time. Will definitely be back for another take away next time I am in the area.

One of the only places open after a day at the beach with a grumpy toddler. Very friendly. Cooked fresh. Lovely and crispy not greasy at all. Great value, well worth a visit.

Amazing boss man done well also got a cheeky loli pop. Curry sauce was the best sauce I’ve ever had . The chips portion is amazing for the price. Very kind. Not greasy. BIG UP BOSS MAN 😛🩷

The name didn't disappoint ! Battered scampi was delicious; So much nicer than breaded. We opted for a standard portion of chips and it was a very generous portion (large must be enormous). A short walk away we found some picnic tables but this chippy was clearly where the locals went instead of the beach front cafés. 19/10/24- Still a very popular chippy. Busy but meant everything was cooked fresh and piping hot. Portion size is still generous and good value. Just over £18 for 1 large chips, 2 portions of scampi and 2 cans of drink.
